Android apps for Windows 11
Android apps for Windows 11
Windows 11 will allow you to run Android apps. So far, this option has only been granted to users from the United States. However, even when this job arrives in Poland, the requirements must be met. It will be placed on computers.
What Windows 11 PC Can Handle Android Apps?
Mobile app support is one of the most interesting new developments in Windows 11. It didn’t hit it on its first day of presentation, but now its public testing has begun in the US. Over time, you will also go to other countries, including Poland. To use it, you will need the right equipment. Specifically, you will need a computer on which it is installed:
- Windows 11 in current version,
- At least 8 GB of RAM (16 GB recommended),
- SSD media (preferably faster)
- and an Intel Core i3 (8th generation), AMD Ryzen (3rd generation), or Qualcomm Snapdragon 8c (or later) processor.
So it is not enough for your PC to be compatible with Windows 11. Therefore, an older generation of Ryzen and half the minimum amount of RAM is enough.
Microsoft and Amazon open the door to a revolution
Access to the Android software on Windows 11 will be available through the Amazon Appstore. Microsoft announces that on the day this feature is introduced, more than a thousand apps will be available. They will include the most popular representatives of each category, including games.
Downloaded and installed Android apps will work exactly the same as desktop apps. This means that windows with them can be freely moved around the screen, and shortcuts to programs – pinned to the taskbar or start menu. We can interact with them using the mouse or touch, and notifications from them are displayed in the system notification center. It really is a great thing
