Apple confirms work on the operating system for augmented reality glasses
Reports that Apple is working on augmented reality glasses have been coming in for a long time, but so far this has been just speculation. In recent days, information about this has appeared in the App Store application icon.
RealityOS
Matthew Davis and Steve Troton Smith, among others, have found references to the name of the operating system that will support these glasses. The program is called “RealityOS”.
The fact that this name is included in the software code used to download the application may indicate that Apple is working on a version of this store intended for augmented reality glasses.
It is worth noting that Mark Gorman of Bloomberg provided information about the “rOS” operating system in September 2017. He then mentioned that the device that will use this program will appear in the market in 2017, but as you know, that did not happen.

Previous reports indicate that Apple is working on at least two of these devices. The first is to debut at the end of this year, and the second is at a later date. Analysts say this year or next year’s model will be too big for such a device. The next generation should be much smaller and more elegant.
The glasses must be equipped with 2 processors, which will be as effective as the M1 system. This large computing power aims to enable, among other things, the seamless switching between virtual and augmented reality modes.
