Prices for electronics in Russia are rising – how much do you have to pay?

The ban on American and Korean technology companies has pushed up electronics prices in Russia.

An increasing number of tech companies are joining the sanctions from around the world. Apple , Samsung , Microsoft , HP , Intel , Visa , MasterCard , AMD , these are just a drop in the ocean of companies that withdrew their products from Russia in connection with the war in Ukraine. Several Western technology companies have already announced that they have stopped supplying their products to the Russian market . This means that electronics stores in Russia cannot organize their inventory on a regular basis . This led to a significant increase in the prices of consumer electronics that are still available on the site.

Over the past few days we have monitored the prices of popular electronic equipment in Russian stores . They prices go up as the ruble falls . For the purposes of this material, we have compared the prices of smartphones, computers and common computer components in one of the largest electronics stores in Russia – DNS Store .

Electronics prices in Russia are constantly rising . Over the past few days we have noticed significant increases in the prices of various types of electronic devices producers who have imposed sanctions on Russia. Prices will continue to rise and the market may collapse soon. There may be a shortage of electronics in Russia, and prices in the secondary market will continue to rise.
