These modules are powered by the built-in Qualcomm X100 5G RAN accelerator, which looks like a simple expansion card. HPE previously worked with Qualcomm to provide additional extensions to the Open RAN ecosystem. Now, this collaboration needs to be broader, so you can offer fully optimized Virtual Distributed Unit (vDU) solutions with a lower TCO of up to 60% for operators.
