Qualcomm and HPE focus on joint activities in the field of 5G
Qualcomm and Hewlett Packard Enterprises (HPE) have announced their collaboration for 5G. There is also the first product.

These modules are powered by the built-in Qualcomm X100 5G RAN accelerator, which looks like a simple expansion card. HPE previously worked with Qualcomm to provide additional extensions to the Open RAN ecosystem. Now, this collaboration needs to be broader, so you can offer fully optimized Virtual Distributed Unit (vDU) solutions with a lower TCO of up to 60% for operators. Companies work together to improve the user experience by ensuring that the RAN platform can handle high workloads with low latency.
