Apple M1 Ultra – the leading ARM processor for Mac computers
At the Peek Performance press conference, Apple presented its flagship integrated circuit from the Apple Silicon family. What sets the Apple M1 Ultra apart.

The Cupertino giant boasted at the press conference that the new Apple M1 Ultra processor is the most efficient chip in the Apple wallet . Computers with the M1 Ultra are significantly more efficient than the latest Mac Pro from 2019, which also uses Intel Xeon W processors.

The Apple M1 Ultra processor is the world’s first chip that enables direct playback of up to 18 8K video streams in the ProRes 422 standard .
The Apple M1 Ultra chip is sold in two hardware configurations – with 20 CPU cores and 48 GPU cores, and with 20 CPU cores and 64 GPU cores .
In the popular Geekbench 5 synthetic test, the Apple M1 Ultra scored 1,793 points in the single-threaded test and 24,055 points in the multi-threaded test.
Currently, the Apple M1 Ultra chip can only be found in the new Mac Studio desktop computer .
Apple will not use this processor in mobile devices. All due to the external dimensions and high energy consumption. The cheapest computer from Apple M1 Ultra (in the basic configuration) costs PLN 20,799 . The additional amount for a more powerful version of the system is PLN 5000.
