RBI Offline Payment Terms and Conditions

• As per RBI rules, for offline payments, transactions of up to Rs 200 are allowed. Apart from this, a maximum of 10 transactions i.e. up to 2,000 rupees will be allowed offline.

• The biggest thing is that you will not need internet or mobile network for offline digital payments. In this case, the offline payment can be made through any means including face-to-face card, wallet and mobile.

No AFA is required

• According to RBI, no FTA authentication factor will be required for offline digital payments. At the same time, the payment will be done offline, so customers will receive an SMS or email alert after some time.

• In fact, offline payment started on a trial basis during the period from September 2020 to June 2021 in different parts of the country. This frame was prepared after getting a good response on it.
