This is the ideal browser for support companies
The startup has developed an interesting browser called Island. We are dealing here with one of the first tools of this kind in the world, which was developed with companies in mind, not individual computer users.
Island Browser (created by the company of the same name) is based on open source software (Chrome Engine) and supports mechanisms that make it suitable for use in companies. So it can restrict access to certain websites and prevent employees from uploading and downloading large amounts of data, block copying and pasting of certain information, or even taking screenshots. All these restrictions are the responsibility of the IT system administrator. It can be configured according to a specific policy in a particular company.
Of course, the user can always browse the web using standard browsers such as Chrome or Edge, but they cannot prevent the employee from taking screenshots containing confidential data, which is possible with the Island browser. It is the IT system administrator who decides whether the data is confidential or not.

Island Browser has many options to control what its user can do. Officials are free to act here as they make such decisions. They can create advanced security mechanisms, block or allow basic operations such as copying, pasting, downloading, uploading, screenshotting and other actions, as long as they believe that such operations may expose important data.
The browser works with both Windows and macOS. When it comes to mobile versions (iOS and Android) and Linux, its premiere is expected in the coming weeks.
