The smartphone has a built-in headphone jack, and the fingerprint sensor (which also measures the pulse) can be found under the display. Under the hood we find a MediaTek 920 processor with an integrated 5G modem. We also get 6 or 8 GB of RAM. Everything works under the proprietary realme overlay for Android 11. The system runs smoothly, more advanced games can be played, and browsing apps and apps on the web is not a problem for one of the best realme smartphones. The system is cooled by a special vapor chamber, thanks to which the phone remains cool, even while gaming.

The user interface offers us quite a good customization – we can change the shape and color of the icons, etc., however, I miss the lighting effects, for example, the Vivo V21. However, there is not much “bloatware” installed, and it works efficiently and quickly.

Camera

The key to the success of realme 9 Pro + should be the matrix camera of the flagship. In fact, for a mid-range cell phone, realme stands out from the competition. This isn’t the iPhone 13 Pro Max or S22 Ultra’s photo quality, but it’s great for the price, and some of the more expensive phones take worse photos. Next to the main camera we find an 8-megapixel wide-angle and 2-megapixel macro camera, and in the front we have a 16-megapixel matrix camera. Daytime photos are very accurate at reproducing color and capturing detail well, and photos at night don’t look bad either. In general, it looks better than, for example, in Nord 2 and is a determining factor for its price category. In addition, we get optical stabilization, which significantly improves the quality of night photos.

When it comes to movies, we can only record in 4K at 30fps, but that’s basically an advantage for all smartphones in this price range.

How to use Realme 9 Pro +? The phone is very comfortable in the hand, it is not too heavy (it weighs 176 grams), everything works smoothly and comfortably. The user interface is adaptable to our style, although it lacks the colorful lighting effects for notifications. The smartphone can also handle the most demanding games. Both the front and rear cameras are very good and limited photographers will not complain about the quality of the photos during the day and at night.
