In Ukraine, on Tuesday evening, there were disturbances on the official website of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as in the applications and mobile services of two state-owned banks – PrivatBanku and Sberbank. Thus, from about 6:15 pm, when trying to enter the website of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (https://www.mil.gov.ua/), users receive the message “The page is not available” and “Unable to access the site” . The same result is obtained by users trying to enter the website of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (https://www.zsu.gov.ua/). This information was confirmed by the Ukrainian company Stratcom.

Moreover, clients of state-owned PrivatBank and Oschadbank have reported interruptions in the operation of mobile applications. In particular, there were problems with running the program and making payments.

For its part, the press service PrivatBank denied the bank’s suspension and described the reports as “disinformation”.

PrivatBank records customer complaints about misinformation reports about bank failures. This information is false and misleads our customers. The bank said in a statement that PrivatBank operates in standard mode and puts security and honest information for its customers first. Sberbank said it was already “solving problems”.

Oschadbank checks systems and connects additional servers, so some of our services may be temporarily limited. We apologize for any inconvenience. “We are working hard to keep our services running smoothly for all our users,” Interfax told the bank’s press service.

Artillery shelling of Ukrainian positions in the Donbass also began.
