Vectra AI made cybersecurity services free
Due to the increase in cyber threats caused by war, Vectra AI has provided a suite of cyber security tools and services for free. They target organizations that they believe may become targets for attacks as a result of the conflict.
Vectra AI specializes in AI-based threat detection and response to advanced attacks in hybrid and multicloud organizations. The company is actively tracking new conflict-related attacks in the wake of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, as well as other conflicts around the world.
As long as the crisis continues, Vectra AI will provide the following services for free:
• scans the Microsoft Azure AD and M365 environment for signs of attacks;
• Monitor the AWS infrastructure for signs of persistent attacks, as well as provide attack detection and response tools to both the network and the AWS account control plane;
Check also:
• Monitor network infrastructure in both the cloud and on-premises for attacks, including the deployment of Vectra sensors specifically designed to detect malicious processes;
• Support the storage of historical metadata to facilitate incident response investigations based on exposure indicators (IOCs) to specific attack variants.
Attacks previously attributed to Russian hackers are known to impede the operation of Microsoft Enterprise Cloud, as a result of, inter alia: by accessing undisclosed important information. Thanks to the purchase of Siriux, Vectra AI has unique tools for instant detection of unwanted processes in Microsoft Azure Active Directory that may compromise an Exchange Online mailbox. Vectra AI will also provide a free Siriux scan to organizations that you think may be under attack.
“With the escalation of cyber threats and the increased risk of attacks, Vectra AI wants to help resolve the situation,” said Hitesh Sheth, President and CEO of Vectra AI. “We believe that together we can significantly reduce the risks associated with cyberattacks by nation states. We hope that by offering our products and services free of charge during a crisis, we can help more organizations protect their resources” – he noted.
The Vectra platform captures packets and logs across network, public cloud, and SaaS and scans authentication and access control using patented security-oriented AI to detect and prioritize threats to quickly respond to attacks. Threat detection in Vectra relies on a thorough understanding of the methods used by attackers and optimized AI algorithms. Automatic notifications regularly reveal the attacker’s methods, and the collected data is linked across the client’s environment to reveal the true source of the attacks.
